In this workshop, we aim to provide parents, caregivers, and educators with the tools and strategies needed to navigate the challenges that we are facing under Trump administration. As our children witness political changes that will likely impact their lives and the lives of those they love, it has become additionally crucial to do our best as caregivers to equip ourselves and our children with the understanding of what is happening, what may be yet to come, and what we have at our disposal to offset harm. We will also name examples of how of our collective resilience can show up to cope with these shifts.  We will explore age-appropriate ways to help children process their feelings including fear and confusion, recognize the potential impacts on their communities, and foster a sense of safety and belonging.
